April 3, 2015

Welcome to the summer season 2015!!! A great night at the old barn.

As the puck dropped on the season Final Touch and Manville Pizza Palace got it started. It would be Aaron Crossett with the first goal for final touch and the season. Sean Forrant was the story of the game popping in 2 goals, including what would turn out to be the game winner. "change that guys rating, he aint no D player". Not to be undone, Manville's Jodi Pachomski got all 4 goals, 3 assisted by Keith Kraunelis. Final Touch starts the season with a W 7-4

In the 930 slot, the new look Roman Law and MSCCC was on display. Rob Edelman, Joe Martin and goalie Jay Pires were the 3 stars of the game. MSCCC kept it close and the game was all knotted up heading into the third. Roman Law kicked it into another gear getting goals by Edelman, Martin and Rick Vota. The Car Care Centers, center, Mike Thomas squeaked in 2 one late in the third to keep his team in the game, with Steve Owens picking up 2 assists to help the club. Roman picks up a win 6-3.

On the west coast, it was Manny's Hockey Shop pitted against Vescera Law. Vescera came storming up to start the game and got 3 goals in the first spreading the wealth around. Manny's was down by 3 and scored 7 in the second. Derek Signoriello put his team on his back scoring 2 within the first minute and a half. Then it became a goal a minute affair  for the first 5 minutes. This putting the Hockey Shop on top and completing the crazy comeback. They would total 8 unanswered goals and winning 9-4. I don't know what the conversation was like between the first and second, but it must have been something.

See you all next week.
