Season Winding Down

March 4, 2016

With most of the Final Touch team out west to play in Vegas, The rest of the league was in full swing.

401 Consultants fell to Roman Law in the early going. Roman spread the wealth with goals by 6 different players. That is team work. 401 came close as they were tied through 2 periods. It would be the final push at the end of the 3rd that put the red over the top. 401 would also spread the wealth getting 4 goals by 4 different players. Tough loss in the end for the blue. Romans victory puts them 4 points out of first place and 3 points ahead of Vescera Law.

Speaking of Vescera Law, with the return of Rob Edelman last week, their hopes of pushing their way to the top of the standings starts to shape up. They didn't expect Manny's Hockey Shop to put up 6 on them. Manny's came out to a 3-1 lead in the first period and never looked back. Like Roman and 401, Manny's had goals from 6 players. Leading the scoring was the line of Paul Praderio, who had a goal and 3 assists, yours truly having a goal and 3 assists and Rick Mercuri, putting in, what turned out to be, the game winner. Vescera got goals from Bill Figuerido and of course Rob Edelman.

In the third game, it was all Manville Palace Pizza all the time. 10 goals yep 10 goals. Sorry Keith, but Kreg is better, with 5 goals and 3 assists he personally destroyed MSCCC. Captain Dan Dussault fed Kreg a steady diet of pucks all night. Dan had 6 assists. Frank Notorianni  had a Hat trick and 2 assists. Mineral Spring Car Care Center was led by Pete Sanchione with 2 goals and an assist.

Jim Gallagher is accepting down payments for the summer season. Please pay up as soon as possible. $150 down payment is needed to get a roster spot.

Have a great week everyone. Manny's is on the by if anyone needs a player next week.
