Here we are mid season already. A little PSA, You need to pay to play. If you have not paid, you need to. You were not good enough to get a paid gig. That is why we all have to pay for this. Please see Shawn Smith, make it right. For those who have paid, Thank you, you are cool.
First game was a barn burner. Although, I can appreciate goal scoring, It sucks to add into the system. 15 total goals in this one you bastahds. In the first it was tied up 1-1 then 2-2, but a late goal in the first by Jonathan Murphy, made it 3-2. Wayne Breneman had 2 for Vescera as well. On the Manville side, Mark Kosinski and Mike Bragan got on the board. In the second. It got tied up again 6-6 at the end of the period. 4 goals by MPP 2 by Bragan to get the hat trick, one by Jeremy Lawton and one by Mike Thomas. And 3 by Murphy on the Vescera side. Yep that makes a hat trick plus one for Murphy. In the third, it was all Vescera. Shane McShane Shane McCormick with the game winner. Ed Cardoso also got on the board. That would do it. 9-6 Vescera with the win.
Now for a normal scoring game. Quick Dam and Green Goddess. Kreg LaBelle got the Orange on the board early with a break away in goal. Complete thievery. Goddess tied it up with a goal by Ben Hevner, breaking with a chip pass by Brendan Shae. Late in the first Andrew Laird put the Orange ahead. In the second, Laird got another early goal. But the goal of the game, was the forecheck of Shannon Caverly, the pass to herself off the goalies pads and the finish. Should be on live barn, best goal of the year. WOOT WOOT. made it 4-1. Also, made it the game winner. Late in the second, Goddess would score again, Iggy Gozman coming in from the blue line to put the pressure on. Late in the second, Kreg would get another. Goddess clamped down and didn't allow another goal. Did score at the beginning of the third. Quick Dam circled the wagons and pulled out the win. Welcome back Frank Zabatta!! Final 5-3 Quick Dam.
Late game, Edge Doctor and Votta Properties. Votta keeps the train rolling. Not that easy against Edge. Derek Signoriello got the Edge on the board early. Filling in for Kevin Webster. Votta would tie it up midway through with a goal by Ryan Degnan. In the second, Adam Babikian got the Edge a lead, briefly. Yep, Cause the opposing captain, Big Sexy Ricky Votta got it tied up. In the third, it was 2 goals for Votta Little Robbie Edleman with the game winner and Degnan with the game winner. 4-2 Votta.
Lots going on, Zombie-fest at Last Resort. Mike Dussaults new band Vasoline. Mikes into Vasoline. I mean in Vasoline. Anyway, the go on at 6. Also, Underground (unplugged) Nati is leading Eric Robichaud and John Pell in a trio at Shorty's in Fall River, this one is early as well. 6-9.
