As winter falls upon us.

January 10, 2026

Here is to the long journey of the winter cold. Wait, it's 50 degrees. Ahhh New England. Gotta love it.

Votta Properties and Green Goddess have been going at it in the standings. A couple of ties for Votta now separates the two teams in points. Tonight, puts Goddess in the conversation. Seeing the Mark Kosinski of old in my eyes. Jump starting this team with 4 goals last night. It could be the chemistry of the line with Shannon Reilly, adding 3 goals and an assist, making the difference. On the Votta side, they are never out of a game and in this one, they were right there, tied at the beginning of the third. This team spreads it around with 4 goals by 4 different players. Kole Sisson, back in the fold with the early goal. Derek Franco adding a goal in the second. Big Sexy, Ricky Votta, leading his team with a goal in the early third to tie it up. And Nick Nardone on the back end of the scoring. Common denominator was Peter Meegan setting up 3 of the four from the blue line. In the end, Goddess wins 6-4.

Edge Doctor and Final touch. 2 of the best jerseys in the league, in this reporters opinion, were on the ice against each other. This was a defensive battle from the start. The Doctor hemmed in the Touch in the early going. Touch got loose and opened up the ice. Late in the first, Eric Campbell, Oh Captain my Captain, got the party started. In the second, midway through, Ben Hevner would point and shoot for goal number 2. In the third, Hevner again. The shutout for Woody Pitkat, gave us all that. Great game, Final Touch 3-0.

And last but certainly not least, Quick Dam and Manville Palace Pizza for the west coast feed. In the first, All Quick Dam all the time. Dillon Rabitor got it off the ground with one and Andrew Laird got 2. Andrew is very good at helping 3 year olds with safety tips on fire as well. Just ask the Schaivone fan base. In Dillon and Andrew were a force the whold game. Hat trick for Dillon and Andrew with two goals and an assist. In the second for Quick Dam was a lone goal. MPP however loaded up in the second to cut the lead to one in the end of the period. Kreg Labelle, Brian Roman and Sean Aguiar. In the third 4 goals by Quick Dam to staple this one down. Jamie Murphy and Greg Brierly with the late 2. Two goals by Mr. Tenacity, Mike Thomas in the third for MPP was not enough. Quick Dam wins 8-5.

Ok Kids, it was a fun Friday night. I hope you all have a safe week. Enjoy the time. You don't get it back. Time passes, that is all.
