Cold, Snow and Winter Continues!
21 Weeks into the season. 5 games left. The top of the standings are glued together by 3 teams. Votta Properties are nipping at the heals of the top as well. The next 5 weeks will shake out the right to the top of the top. Last night just made it more sticky.
Manville Pizza and Vescera Law went at it first. Vescera has been at the top of the heap throughout the season. Pizza did not care. Kreg Labelle got on the board first. Later in the period, VLaw tied it up with a goal by Gary Ouilette. Labelle answered immediately to gain the lead once again. Ryan Degnan stretched the lead to 2 goals and got the GWG in the first. Mike Thomas got the only goal in the middle period. Jumped out in the third with another. Along with 3 more goals in the third. Degnan with another, Keith Kraunelis got one as well and Labelle got his Hatty. Vescera got a second goal in the third. Game ended with Manville Pizza winning 8-2.
In game 2 another lopsided score. Final Touch and Green Goddess on this tilt. In the first Final Touch jumped out to a 3-0 lead. A goal by Eric Campbell, cleaning up the rebound from Ben Hevner. Hevner got the other two goals, with Campbell on both apples. Campbell started the second with a goal. Shannon Reilly broke the Goddess bubble with a goal from Rob Edleman and Mark Kosinski. Campbell would get his hatty with the answer goal right after. 2 more goals for Hevner to complete his hat trick. Garret Reilly got one from the middle of the slot for Goddess, because he couldn't let his sister have all the glory. Right after a goal by Marc O'Conner for the Touch. Onto the third, Hevner with his fifth goal. JW Preston swept through Final Touch and got another goal for Goddess. The next three were O'Conner with a gift. Frank Nardone from behind the goal line on and impossible shot. And finally for Final Touch, Hevner with the second Hatty finish. 12-3 Final Touch wins.
Here is the most competitive game of the night. Quick Dam Vs. Votta Properties. In the First it was all Kole Sisson got 2 of their three goals and an assist on the other one. Quick Dam got one from Jay Arruda. In the second, off the drop, Sisson would complete the Hat Trick for Votta. A goal by Dylan Rabitor and Jarred Martin, cut the Properties lead to 1. In the third, Rabitor would tie the game. Andrew Laird would give Quick Dam their first lead. Votta would tie it a shift later. That would do it 5-5.
Here we are in another storm. As far as we can tell, JR'S Seaside in Swansea is welcoming Loose Screws featuring Richie Dias with his angelic vocals. 8 pm in Ocean Grove avenue. Brave the snow for the show.
Hope everyone has a great week. See you when I see you.
