First, a little PSA. Pay the bill. If you owe, make it right. Even a little bit goes a long way.

Welcome to game one of this evenings festivities. Manville Pizza and Vescera Law. Manville Pizza has risen to the top of the standings. Kalshi has them as a favorite. In this one, Goodness gracious both teams were tied coming out of the first. The youngsters for both teams got on the board. Brayden Webster for Manville and Ryan Degnan for the Law. The second belonged to Mike Thomas with two goals for Pizza to take the 3-1 lead. In the third Brayden completed the Sombrero trick, with two goals and the finishing touches. Jay Lombardi did get one more for the V-LAW but it was not enough. MPP gets the 5-2 win.

This next one sucked. Yep, I was on the wrong end of a spanking. It wasn't a good spanking, like 'let's experiment'. It was a humiliating, pants down, wooden spoon. Anyway, 5 goals for Final Touch in the first. A hat trick for Tim Pinsense. Branden Shae and Scooter Frasier also got one each. Edge Doctor got one from Kole Sisson. In the second, it was tied 0-0. The third, the other wheels fell off for the Edge. 4 more goals for Final Touch. Pinsense, Richie Dias, Jamie Murphy and Shae. Edge Doctors captain Adam Babikian did get another one for the Edge. Final Score, Final Touch 9-2. Wooden spoon and all.

A little vindication for me, having to play a second game. My body hates you Eric Campbell. Please Matty, can you play. Actually it Hates Glenn Medierios for backing out. This game was back and forth in the first. Quick Dam and Votta Properties traded goals with Quick Dam getting the better with a 4-3 lead heading into the second. Kreg Lebelle with the first goal, Andrew Laird with the second and Ben Hevner with 2 for the Dam. On the Votta side, Shannon Franco started the scoring, Rob Edleman with the second and Ricky Votta with the third. In the second, Quick Dam got on their heels with Ricky Votta tying the game up for his team. And then the Dam closed the dam. See what I did there. Ben Hevner got the game winner with his third goal and Hat Trick. Andy Laird with a second goal. Marc O'Conner with the empty netter, to complete the game. 7 - 4 in the end.

I don't see any of our family playing live music this weekend. But go see a band, Live music is awesome.
