This is the Storm Edition. 

Last nights action looked like a storm on ice level. Manville Pizza and Green Goddess went at it. Manville on the top of the standings and Goddess on the other end. Manville Pizza came in a bit hobbled by circumstance with only 9 players. Goddess took full advantage in the first with 3 goals. In the second, Keith Kraunelis for MPP with their lone goal of the period and turns out the game. Pete Meegan capped of Goddess' night with a late goal to make it 4-1, Goddess wins and stays even with the rest of the cellar dwellers. 

Game 2 was a homecoming for some of us. Playing against the summer champs Quick Dam. Edge Doctor came on strong in the first, producing one goal by Kole Sisson, but a team effort to get that one. In the second, Larry Lefebvre would add to the scoring making it 2-0. A strong surge for quick dam in one shift, would vault Quick Dam to a tie. Marc O'Conner on the first and a bit of a fluke on the second giving it to Andrew Laird. Late in the second, All Effort by Kole to break the tie and put Edge ahead again. And the goal of the game and the game winner. An errant pass got away from Edges captain, Adam Babikian. As any good player will do, he chased it down. However, that was not all, chased, grabbed, went 100 feet, used his net as a sling shot, drove 200 more feet and scored. Crazy. One more goal by Adam and a late minute goal by Quick Dam. Final Score 5-3 Edge Doctor wins and gets off the Schnide. 

Last but not least. Votta Properties and Vescera Law went at it. This was even after the first 1-1. Early in the second Votta would grab the lead with a goal, set up by Shannon Franco. Early in the second Keith Sisson would get the game winner. Oops spoiler. In the third, Votta would get 2 more. The Sissons and the Franco's are all over these score sheets. Wow. Anyway final was 4-1 Votta Properties. 

We are in the middle of a storm. Not sure how it is there, but must be the calm over in Cumberland. 

The Underground are still on for tonight. 8:30 to Midnight. A very nice venue called Brothers Tavern. 31 Central Street, Milford. Plenty of free parking in municipal lots.
