Twas the weekend before XMAS!

In the first game, the power house that is Roman Law would face Vescera Law for a battle of the attorney’s. It would be Roman getting out in front and staying there on a Hat Trick by Jason Arruda. Sean Smith would grab 2 assists and Craig Pizzo would get the Red on the board first.

It would mano y mano or Manville Pizza vs. Manny’s Hockey shop in the second stanza. Manny’s would jump out to the lead with Kenny Beck playing hard and fighting for the goal and getting it. It would be Capt. Derek Signoriello getting the Hockey Shop way out in front with the next 2 goals. Keith Kreaunelis would get the score close with a shot off the boards and a tip in the empty side of the net. A nifty play set up by Kelley Hoover. Signoriello would put Manny’s up again by 2. Steve Owens would get the next 2 goals set up by Dave McQuade and Capt. Dan Dussault. In the third it was all Manny’s. Yours truly would get a back hander set up by Derek Antunes pass to the top of the slot. Later Antunes would get one of his own set up by Joe Martin. This would be 2 goals in the same shift to put Manny’s up for the game. Beck would score the EN to cap the scoring. Mike Dussault would shut down the pizza in the third.

Mineral Spring Car Care center is on a tear. They would outgun Final Touch in the final game 7-6. Brian Beck was up to his old tricks getting a trick plus 2 leading the touch with 5 goals. He was set up by 3 assists from JW Preston. Beck would figure in on all the goals, getting 6 points and leading the stat board. On the other side, Gray (MSCCC) spread the wealth around. Nate Arruda would start the scoring with an assist by Anthony Lisi. Lisi would later get a goal of his own and another assist. Capt. Gary Ouillette would get 2 goals of his own, one being the game winner. Scott Hawes would also put the rubber in the twine with 2 goals. Mike Strayer would round out the scoring for the total team effort.
