Wake me up when February ends.
First I would like to say, we all should say a prayer for Scott Reilly. We are all thinking about you bud. I hope it is nothing major.
Also, prayers to all who were effected by the shooting at Lynch. An awful situation, we hope to never see again.
On a positive note, Congratulations to the USA Women's Olympic Hockey team! You made history! It was amazing. Tomorrow we will all be watching the USA Men's take on Canada. LETS GO!!! USA, USA, USA!!!
Now back to our hockey.
Votta Properties got the better of Manville Pizza. The early game saw #8, assuming it was Steven Albertelli, get 5 goals and an assist. The Evil Empire, Manville had Sean Aguiar and Kreg Labelle getting the goals. Steve Donavan got the ball rolling for Votta in the 7-2 tilt.
In the second game, Edge Doctor coming off their brief Hiatus against Green Goddess supply. Goddess got on the board first with a solo effort by Raf Manzo. A minute later Edge tied it up with a goal by Cory Landi, Kenny Beck with the apple. This was tight until the 11th minute of the 3rd, when Edge Doctor got the GWG with a goal by a sub. Not sure who 53 was. Edge wins 2-1. Great game.
And now the Vescera Law and Final Touch vying for the top spot in the standings. Final Touch got the game going in the second with a goal by Ben Hevner. Late in the period, Frank Nardone got the freight train rolling coast to coast and scored to make it 2-0. Vescera, unphased by the goal differential, scored 20 seconds later. In the third Vescera's Neil Yee, trying to impress his daughter, got the tying goal. Late in the game, Gary Ouilette scored the game winner slapping it in the open net. 3-2 Vescera.
Final Touch went from 1 to 3 in the standings last night. Vescera stays on Top. Edge is edging out the second spot. Getting tight at the top kids. Just a couple more weeks til the playoffs.
Hope everyone has a great week!
