Week Three and What a Week it Was. Lots of W's in that statement
Hi All, It is now time for an abridged version of the article.
In the first game, Manville Pizza had a fate they did not deserve versus Vescera Law. Law ended up winning 7-5. It was a mammoth turn around. A clear goal by MPP was not counted and it was a momentum swing that saw Vescera on the winning side of the 7-5 score. Although that was early in the third, it made a difference. In this reporters opinion, that is Hockey.
In the second game, Final Touch almost blew a huge lead going into the third. Up by 6 goals late in the second, Goddess mounted their come back. 2 goals late. One last goal by Final Touch, to go into the third 7-2. The first shift, Goddess got 2 goals. You could almost hear the drum beat in the back ground of them marching over the Touch. Another 2 a couple of shifts later. now we have a game. Final Touch managed another goal and edged out Green Goddess 8-7. Apparently no lead is safe.
The Late game was a close one as well. Votta Properties and Quick Dam dancing towards a tie at the end, Votta Properties eeked out the win. Quick Dam fought to the bitter end with a late goal. It was not enough. Votta with the 5-4 win.
Hope everyone has a great week. Wicked Rhode is at Stevie D's in Riverside tonight. And, Oriental Pearl hosts Loose Screws. Hope you can make it to support your talented hockey player/musicians.
