2 goal shut out and then goals galore.

June 13, 2026

The story today begins in the foreign land of Pawtucket, RI. Yes, moved to Lynch Arena. It was weirdly foggy on the onset of the night.

In the first game Chris Santiago came in to help out Quick Dam play against Votta Properties. Yes, that Votta Properties. The Purple has owned this season thus far. Pitching undefeated through the first 8 games. Tonight Quick Dam had the grit and Santiago got the shut out. A couple of goals by Andy Laird was the difference in the tilt. The first goal was a steal on the blue line by Captain Eric Campbell, turned out to be the game winner.

In game 2 Santiago kept the train moving with another win. Vescera Law versus Edge Doctor. This one started off with an even first period of goaless hockey. In the second Johnathan Murphy lit the fuse with a goal in the early second. Then Wayne Breneman got the next and one of 4. The Older sibling of the Sisson family, Keith Sisson got a couple to even things up for the Edge. Breneman got 2 more for the Hat Trick. In the third Breneman got the third started with his fourth from the puck drop. Jim Leach got another for Vescera. Edge Doctor would not go away, scoring 2 more. Too Little, too late. Shane McCormick got a capper in the last minute to make it 7-4.

And now the final game. Green Goddess vs. Manville Pizza. In the first Goddess got a couple to start the game. Brian Cormier got it started. And then there was Jeremy Lawton. He tied the game up for MPP. Goddess took the early lead in the first 3-2. In the second, well that belonged to MPP. 3 goals by ole white gloves, Mark Kosinski and one for Mike Thomas. Goddess got a goal in the second as well from Ben Hevner. In the third 3 more for MPP another for Kosinski and another for Lawton. What kind of bologna has a team with the goal scoring power of 2 guys with hat tricks. This is bologna. Goddess did get a 3rd period goal by Ben Hevner as well. The game ended with 9-5 tilt for Manville Pizza.

Wow what a night.

Tonight in Manville, The Underground takes the stage at 8:30. The venue is The Harmony Cafe. 47 Summer St. Manville (Lincoln), RI. What do you say? Can you make it?

Also, no games next week for the league, but there is the inaugural Rob Schaivone Memorial tournament. That should be a blast.

In the meantime. Be good to each other.

Live, Breathe, Love.................HOCKEY!!!!
