Last week before our final 4 and Independence Day. God Bless America

June 27, 2026

Ok let's just get into it.

It was a hot and steamy night at the rink. The ice however, was excellent in the first game.

In the first game, Manville Pizza and Quick Dam went at it. It was a great skate, ending in a tie. In the first Quick Dam got up 2-1. Pete Meegan and Brian Cormier got on the board for the Dam. While Manville's Jeremy Lawton got one back in between. In the second Early score by Manville tied up the game 2-2. Mike Thomas for the goal. Late in the second, Dave Poisson got the lead back. Midway through the the third, Kreg LaBelle would snipe and stretch the lead for Quick Dam making it 4-2.  Two late goals by Manville Pizza would snuff the dreams of winning out of Quick Dam. Keith Kraunelis at the 10 minute mark for the third goal. Dillon Rabitor with a long distance call and the goalie pulled for the tying mark at 30 seconds left. 4-4 your final.

In game 2 Edge Doctor came off a 3 game skid with this one against Green Goddess. 6 goals in the first would set a tone. One that Goddess could not shake. Kole Sisson would light the fuse and book end goals in the first. Jay Arruda, Aaron Crossett and Kevin Webster also on the board. Goddess had a lone goal in the first. In the second the Green would get one back off the faceoff from Ben Hevner. In the same shift Kole would answer for Edge and collect the Hat Trick. Goddess made it a little interesting with a goal from Garet Reilly. In the third, Webster would get his second for Edge Doctor. Green Goddess' Ben Hevner would get another, but too little too late, as Edge Doctor won this one 8-4.

On to the late game with Votta Properties and Vescera Law going at it. This might be a preview of the finals. If it is, Votta would be happy. The first period ended in a 1-1 tie. Vescera Law got the first goal midway through from Wayne Breneman. Late in the period, Ryan Degnan got on the board for Votta. The end of the second would end up with the score 3-3. An early goal by Nick Nardone for V Law. Then 2 by the purple to take the lead, Brayden Webster and Neil Foley. Yep Neil. Nice goal too. A late answer by Vescera's Johnathan Murphy to close the second. In the third, it was all Votta on the scoring. An early goal to make it 4-3, Brayden Webster for his second. And a late goal by Ryan Degnan who started the scoring and ended the scoring in this one. Votta Properties for the win 5-3.

The Underground is at Brothers Tavern in Milford tonight at 8pm. Hope to see you there.

I hope everyone has a great 4th of July. Celebrating 250 years of the USA. The greatest place in the world. God Bless America!!
