The Dog Days Of Summer

July 11, 2026

Wow is it hot this summah, huh? My grass is crying. Love that A/C.

It was a hot night at the ice as well. Very little movement in the standings.

In the first game a bit of an upset. Green Goddess took down Vescera Law in the early going. Raf Manzo got Goddess on the board late in the first. Vescera tied it up in the second with Johnathan Murphy bending the twine, in a solo effort. Manzo took the lead again late in the second. In the third, the drop of the puck saw the lead grow for GG. Shawn Smith with the Game winning goal. Sorry that was a spoiler. Later in the third, Vescera Law got one back with a goal by Ed Cardoso. Brendan Shae, got the final goal late in the third for Green Goddess. Making it 4-2. Goddess with the win.

In game 2. I don't want to talk about it. Ok, I will Edge Doctor was way better than Quick Dam in this one. The first period saw Edge taking a 3-0 lead. Kevin Webster back in the fold got on the board, then Kole Sisson dropped a blooper in the corner of the net. Then Brendan Shea got one on a sub assignment. In the second, Quick Dam got one back with a goal by Kreg LaBelle. Quick Dam was back in the game. In the third, Kole got on the board for a second one for Edge Doctor. Quick Dam got another one back with Andrew Laird putting it in the net. The back breaker came with 4 minutes left, as Webby got another one to make it 5-2. Edge Doctor with the win.

And last but not least. Votta Properties keeps the train rolling with an 8-2 rout of Manville. In MPP's defense, they were down 2 players midway through the game. Votta also was minus a player. By the time the 3rd period came through, Votta had 5 goals unanswered. 2 by Ryan Degnan, Steve Donavan, Rob Edelman and Brayden Webster all with goals. In the third, Brayden Websert got an early one, along with Ricky Votta. Manville Pizza finally broke the bubble midway through with a goal by Jeremy Lawton and one by Mark Kosinski. A late goal by Ricky Votta to close out the game and the win.
