Hello hockey fans. This week the games were all very close. The top teams are still the top teams. The rest are within striking distance of moving up or down. Crazy season.

In the first game, Vescera Law and Quick Dam went at it. Quick Dam down 6 players, but got some great substitutes. In the end Johnathan Murphy had a Hat Trick and an Assist to rule the game. Quick Dam Was in the game the whole time with a goal by Kreg LaBelle and Jerry Fahey in the second. Late in the second the story was the puck sitting on the goal line while the buzzer rang out. Quick Dam had hope, which was squelched in the third. Vescera Law wins 4-2. 

Look at Green Goddess. The cellar dwellers are rising from the ashes. Votta Properties, the king of the mountain could not eek this one out. They started off with an early goal in the first by Dan Fraser. In the second another one early by Brayden Webster. Goddess answered quickly, making it 2-1 Votta. Another goal by Votta's very own Lil' Robby Edelman, to stretch the lead. Ben Hevner for the Green answered the bell making it 3-2. Votta came back with a late goal in the second by Neil Foley. And then came the third. Dunt dunt duuuuuuuh. Ben Hevner took the wheel midway through for 2 consecutive goals and tied this one up. The GWG came with just 4 minutes left. And then it was the all out scramble by both teams. Green Goddess held out to win 5-4. 

In the late one, Manville Pizza and Edge Doctor captained by Bill Babikian went at it. There are a lot of goals in this one. Suffice it to say, Damn. So, Lots of subs in this one and I was not paying attention. It was 3-2 at the end of one. Jeremy Lawton got one of them for MPP. At the end of the second it was all tied up 5-5. I know Bragan for mpp got one of those. And then it was 3-1 in the third giving MPP the 8-6 win. Lawton with the GWG and Bragan with the capper. Even Ben Dussault, who was scoring the game, said it was a Frankenstein game. Crazy. MPP Is also winning their way through the standings with just a few games left. 

Tonight: The Underground is at Escada Bar, 39 Putnam Pike (44), Johnston, RI. I heard some of the hockey folks will be there. You should be part of it.
