Happy Mothers Day ladies!

May 11, 2024

Hello mothers and mother fu...... I mean, hi.

Here we go, Green Goddess versus Final Touch. The first was a wash. The second belonged to Final Touch. Touch would get 5 goals in the second. 4 by Kreg Labelle. One by yours truly. Steve Owens had 4 points figuring in on all but the breakaway for Kreg. Playing with Kreg and Steve was a treat. Yeah, I played forward. On the Goddess side, Rob Edelman would get 2 of the three 2nd period goals to keep up with Final Touch. Chris Palmeiri would get one as well to round out the 2nd. In the third, it belonged to Green Goddess. Nick Nardone started the fire. Palmeiri would get another one early to tie the game. Nick Nardone would get his second and the game winner. It would end up 7-5 Green Goddess.

Quick Dam and Vescera Law played game 2. Vescera was on fire, with Mike Dussault back between the pipes. Quick Dam did start the scoring with Mike Thomas bending the twine. Shane McCormick would tie it up for the Law side. That would be it in the first. The second belonged to Vescera. Shane would get 3 more goals, on to his way to 6 in total. Six goals for Shane. Was he invisible to the defense out there. My goodness. Also, Rafi Manzo would complete the second period scoring for Vescera Law. On the Quick Dam side, they would cut the lead in half with a goal at the end of the second. A goal by Steve Lombardi. In the third, Ed Cardoso and Shane would round out the scoring. Quick Dam would get 2 more but not enough. Larry Lefebvre and Jim Meegan getting on the board to help the cause. Vescera would go on to win 9-4.

Ok last game. Freakin Manville Pizza wins again. Jeez did you know they are undefeated. Bastards. In the first they got two goals  to one for Votta. Andy Morrison for Votta on the board. and Manville had Greg Landry and Ryan Degnan getting on the score sheet. in the second 2 goals by by Ben Hevner for Manville to take the lead 4-1. Ricky Votta from Andy Morrison midway through would cut the lead in half. In the third, Votta would win the period 3-2 but it would not be enough. In the third Hevner and Landry would round out the scoring. Landry with the game winner. 6-5

I don't know if you know, but THE UNDERGROUND is playing at Hills Tavern in Chepachet on 44. I believe they go on at 8. Eric Robichaud is the lead guitarist. It is a toe tapping good time. LOL.

Hope everyone has a great week.
