If I could save time in a bottle.

January 11, 2025

Hi, welcome to the Matty Chronicles. When you are here you are family.

First game was a tie. Do you like that I tell you the outcome at the beginning of the piece? Or, should I save it for the end? I really don't know myself, but this being a 44 magnum, the most powerful hand gun in the world, you got to ask yourself one question, Do I feel lucky? Well, do you punk. I digress. So, yeah, apparently Vescera Law was up by 3 goals for the better part of the first period. Rob Edleman, Greg Landry and Shane McCormick with the first period action. Yet, with less than a minute left, Neil Yee, got on the board for the evil empire, Manville Pizza. In the second, Yee would set the table and cut Vescera's lead down further. Not to be outdone, Vescera stretched the lead to 4-2, Scott Reilly showing his kids how you do it. In the third, Manville Pizza took the wheel. Dan Fraser got a goal to impress his girl in the warm room. She was so happy. Hard to tell, but she said she was 'thrilled' kind of sarcastically. Then, Yee would round out his Hat Trick. Tying the game. Mark Kosinski, got the go ahead goal and Vesera Law was now facing the losing end of the game. Do not be afraid, Edleman is with you. Little Robbie with the late goal to secure the tie 5-5.

So, this game was wild and wooly. Quick Dam and Green Goddess. A couple of upstart hockey teams if there ever was. Should I spoil it? Yes, I think I will. Quick Dam won. Broke the tie late in the third. When I say late, I mean 12 seconds left on the clock. Whoa. Lets talk about it. So, the game was Quick Dam versus Ben Mello in the first. Ben got one in a mail slot, then and over the shoulder boulder holder shot, then a magic bullet that slid just enough to catch the corner of the inside post and swim around the net. Much to the chagrin of Mark Schaivone. Nice Natty Hatty for Ben Mello. Now, Quick Dam did sneak in a goal in between goals one and 2. Mike Thomas getting on the board. In the second, Quick Dam would tie the game with a goal from Shawn Smith and Marc O'Conner. That sounds like the Irish Mafia. And in the end, Shawn Smith would literally win the game with 12 seconds on the clock. 4-3.

And well Ugh. The 10:20 game. Started at 10:34. The goalies were fantastic in this Game. Tommy Martins for Edge Doctor and Mike Dussault, Jr. for Votta Properties. for 2 Periods, Edge hung with the kids on Votta, It was 4-3 at the end of the second. Edge Doctor mixed it up with a goals by Derek Antunes, Arron Crossett and Adam Babikian. Basically Ben Hevner scored 4 goals and Garret Reilly got one. Plus there was an empty netter. So 6-3 Votta wins. Can you tell my disinterest when I lose. Well, get your own article if you don't like it.

Now, if any of this information is incorrect, I could not care less. But, you will be right and I will be wrong. So, you have that going in your life. That is something.
