Quick question, what is your favorite Christmas movie?

Mine, "it's a Wonderful Life". Although, I agree with Potter on many things, it is a great movie.

Christmas came early for Manville Palace Pizza, Manny's. Vescera and Votta decided to give each other a point, in the spirit of giving.

In the first game, MPP got off to a phenomenal start gaining a 5-0 edge midway through the second. Goals came mostly from the return of Mike Bragan. Bragan got the first goal from Shannon Caverly early in the first. He would get his second late in the first with Shannon's help and Greg Landry. This line was super effective. In the second it would Landry from Bragan. 30 seconds later Landry from Bragan and Shannon. For the fifth goal it would be Bragan with the Hat, from Shannon. I sense a theme. Finally Goddess would get on the score board. Larry Lefebvre would crack the egg from Anthony Lisi and Joe Martin. Joe Martin, wow Nice Socks. The Mo wouldn't last as Dan Dussault popped in the 6th for the MPP and ended the second. In the third, Goddess came alive. Steven Albertelli, would start the scoring from Adam Babikian. These two are great together. Speed and skill from both make a super line. Larry Lefebvre would score another for the Green against his old team, again from Lisi. The comeback was on and MPP was green with Envy or puke, not sure. 3 minutes left and Lisi and Eric Robichaud would feed Albertelli, 6-4 now. Unfortunately for the Green Goddess, it would not be enough. MPP would keep the GG from entering the zone again late and the clock would be its final enemy. MPP 6-4.

In the second game, Roman Law and Manny's would take the ice against each other. Roman Law came off a big win last week, with Shane McCormick having his way with the opponent. Manny's just played their game. Peter Meegan and Derek Antunes would get the party started midway through the first. Late in the period the snipey sniper, Jimmy Meegan would dig for the second goal, from Brian Pendergast and Scott Hawes. Hawesie would get the shot off, Penda with the rebound shot and Jimmy with the finish. In the second, Roman would get on the board. Shane McSHANE SHANE McCormick would do what he does best and score from Shawn Smith. Manny's would persevere again midway through, Jimmy Meegan would tip his brother Andy Meegans shot in. This one started from Penda as well. Early in the third Roman would find themselves on a power play. Manny's would kill off the power play and Scotty Hawes would send Derek Signoriello from the box. The pass found Derek who brought it in for the big deke and finish. In the end one more from Brian Pendergast from Hawes and Gary Ouilette would end the game. Manny's was gold when seeing red. 5-1 final.

And now for something completely different. Vescera Law and Votta Properties would skate to a tie. Vescera would bring first blood and cut Votta deep with a goal by Dan Clare from Rob Edelman. Ricky "I am Votta" Votta would pop a late one in for his team to tie it up. In the second Vescera would strike back with Jay Arruda unassisted. I am sure it was impressive, I didn't see it. On the other book end of the second, Ricky Votta would do it again, this time as a set up man for Nate Arruda. That would be the game right there. The goalies would keep the rest of the game to themselves. Frank (sorry don't know the last name) and Tommy Martins were stellar between the pipes. In the end, 2-2 tie.
