No Holes in the ice, maybe some in the defense.
Hello Cats and Kittens. Hope you are living your best life. I had quite the experience last night. I know this is of no surprise to anyone, but I feel quite old. We had a gig at Freeplay downtown. After our gig, they have a DJ. The characters that were on that dancefloor were interesting to say the least. Crazy to be more accurate. I saw a person dressed as a fox and another dressed as a cat. People go out like that on non Halloween situation. I even saw a dude who looked like Bob Dylan trying to pick up 18 year olds. It was so weird. He didn't, they ran away.
Anyway, let's get into this.
In the first game it was all Final Touch all the time. I really am not believing in this Final Touch team. I wasn't there, but I am quite sure that Peter had some up grades. This might be Fake News, but I don't know who number 16 was last night, but I assume it was a ringer. Pete scored twice and Showtime scored. That must have been entertaining. And BTW Showtime's goal was the game winner. On the other side of the scoresheet. My good friend, Rob Edleman. Rob, thank you for your effort. You really are the cornerstone of the Vescera Law building. Final score 6-1.
Game 2 and welcome if you are just joining us in progress. Votta Properties and Manville Pizza had a battle, or that is how it appears. Looks like Raf Manzo got the Game winner for the Properties. The Teams fearless leader Ricky Votta himself got the fire started, putting the muffin in the tin. MPP scored in the third. In the end it was 3-1. Votta Wins
And the game of the night. Edge Doctor vs. Quick Dam. Once the dust settles, this could be a preview for the end of the season. This one went back and forth. Edge Doctors Leader in spirit and title, started the scoring. Kreg LaBelle feeding this one. Mike Thomas tied it up for Quick Dam in the final minute of the first. Kreg would get the next goal in the second. Thomas again with the tying goal in the final minute of the second. In the third, big Ed Cardoso would take the lead for Quick Dam. In the waning minutes of the game, Derek Antunes got it tied up again. This guy, I mean not enough good things can be said about Derek. Anyway, That was it. 3-3 tie.
What is on deck. We have games and Turkey day coming up.
LOOSE SCREWS are at the Oriental Pearl on November 16th. That is in Dartmouth. You should go, going to be epic. If you don't know, that is the band led by Richie Dias from Somerset Massachusetts.
Hope to see you all soon!
