The Days are getting Sunny and Warm. The Ice is still hot from last night!
If I had a million dollars. Does anyone have a million dollars ? Is a Million enough these days. It may be enough. If you have it, I will take it. Thank you in advance.
Anyway, back to the thing with the ice and skates and what not. Hockey.
The first game did not go well for Quick Dam. Even took a goal away from Shannon Caverly. They even went so far as to go to Toronto for confirmation of an IN THE CREASE rule. Took a goal away from Shannon. How dare you. Edge Doctor got on the board twice in the first period of the game. Derek Signoriello with one then my boy Kole Sisson with the next one. Anyway, not that it matters, but Peter Meegan did the only scoring for Quick Dam in the first. (Matt sounds bitter). Then 2 more unanswered, sort of, by Edge Doctor. Another by Derek and then JJ Francois JJ. Jamie Murphy. In the end Edge Doctor got the win 4-1.
Game 2, Votta Properties and Manville Pizza had a tilly. Votta got 2 in the first one by Little Robbie Edleman and the other by Quick Dams favorite son Kreg LaBelle, filling in on the purple. In the second Votta got a couple more and it started to look like a rout. Edleman with his second and Dan Frasier with the GWG (spoiler). ON the Manville Pizza side, a hat trick by Mike Thomas. Mike Thomas is having a season. Did he get a new stick? Everything he does comes up roses. Unfortunately, not enough. Sorry we all want to take Votta off their high horse.
Vescera and Green Goddess on the ice for the late game. Vescera made it 1-0 in the first with a goal by Larry Lefevbre. In the second Jim Leech got their second. Goddess got on the board soon after with a goal by Mr. Garrett Reilly. It came down to the third. Vescera with 3 goals, capped off by Shane McCormick. While 2 goals by Goddess. One by Ben Hevner and the other by Shawn Smith. 5-3 Vescera takes the win.
Loose Screws, headlined by Richie Dias is at the St. Johns Athletic Club in Fall Reeve. (Fall River). You should go. 8:00 to midnight.
It is a pleasure to serve all of you in this capacity. There have been times where I felt like saying screw this, no one cares, or they care way too much about their stats. However, recently I was told by more than one person how much they enjoyed the article. So, it will continue. For now.
See you all in two weeks. Hope you all enjoy this beautiful weather.
Live, Breathe, Love...................HOCKEY!!
