The Jig is Up and The News Is Out!
Hello and Good morning. For a few minutes of morning left.
What a game the first turned out to be. Quick Dam and Final Touch. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. The two teams skated to a zip zip tie in the first. There was a lot going on there. In the second Final Touch's Ben Hevner turned up the heat and got the touch on the board. A minute later, Quick Dam answered with a goal by Dillon Rabitor, set up by Laird. Still in the second, Hevner scored another, this was a beauty, eh. The Touch enjoyed the lead until the third. A donnybrook broke out leaving Final Touch with a 3 on 5 PK. Quick Dam took advantage and got the immediate goal for their troubles. Less than a minute later, still taking advantage of the major, they got a trickler to cross the line. This one off of Andrew Lairds leg. mother of pearl. But wait theirs more. With the goalie pulled and a dream, Final Touch's Irish car bomb, well the better half of it, scored the tying goal with 4.7 seconds left on the ticker. Whoa. 3-3 emotional roller coaster.
Does anyone really want to talk about this next one? Well we are. Green Goddess and Vescera Law took the ice. V-Law scored early and often . Avery Coppin with a couple of goals along with Shane, McShane, Shane, McCormick. All of a sudden it was 5-0. In the second 2 more goals. Neil Yee and Gary Ouilette with a goal each. Now it is 7-0. In the third an early goal by Goddess. And then another goal by Shane to make his hat trick a reality. And that was it. 8-1. It was a fluke I am sure. Vescera stays tied with Edge Doctor for first place.
Speaking of Edge Doctor, they played Votta Properties. Here we go. Spoiler, another 3-3 tie. In the first Edge was all over them. Adam Babikian getting a couple for his team. Votta would answer in the second getting a couple of their own. Derek Franco, even dehydrated got a goal. Shawn Smith kept the Edge with the edge on the goals. Late in the third, Votta with a dramatic game tying goal by Shannon Franco. Get out the Franco couple with a goal each. What a night for them. Anyway, Yeah a tie.
