There has been a change. The Beck Co. is now in for Final Touch.
Lotta interesting things going on in the hockey world. Well our little world. Ok, let's get into it.
Green Goddess and Edge Doctor got into it. Green Goddess got on the board first with the new guy, Greg Brierly from Nick Nardone. That was not cool. It went off his foot, I thought. I was wrong he actually got it in, but still not good. Anyway, 10 seconds later we, I mean Edge Doctor, got the goal back. Derek Antunes got loose and scored. Next goal 2 shifts later, Kreg Labelle got a beauty pass from Bill Babikian to score. In the second Bill got a goal of his own, swatting it out of the air. Later, Evan Hugenin would get a breakaway pass from Antunes and complete the back hander. Adam Babikian would get a last second goal in the second, beating the buzzer to make it 5-1. Adam would get 2 late goals in the third to complete the Hat Trick. Goddess would get a late goal as well from Jarred Martin. Game winner going to Papa. Edge Doctor wins 7-2
Here is an interesting game. The team formally know as Final Touch, now The Beck Co. played Quick Dam. An early goal by the sponsor, Brian Beck on a break away, started the action. In the middle of the second, number 11, whoever you are, (PETE GET ME THE NUMBERS), made it 2-0. Quick Dam, would not give up. 2 late goals in the third, I mean whisker late, would steal a tie out of the jaws of defeat. Mike Thomas and Shawn Smith getting the goals. 2-2 tie in this one.
Game 3, welcome to the late game. Votta Props vs. Vescera Law. Votta's Ben Hevner got on the board early, like face off early, like 13 seconds in early. Vescera would get the next 2 from Larry Lefebvre and Scott Reilly. Whoever 21 is, got a goal for Votta. Tying it up. Next it would Vescera with another goal by Larry. This one from Doc Manzo. In the second 3 early goals by VLaw Shane McCormick opening up the period, Doc Manzo and Reilly getting another. Hevner would get a couple to keep it close in the second making it 6-4. One more for V-Law before the second ended by Shane McShane Shane. in the third two hat tricks were completed for V-Law. Scott Reilly and Shane McCormick. A late goal by Votta would not be enough in this 9-5 contest. Vescera wins.
Tonight, if you want to have a good time, go to Harmony Cafe in Manville (Lincoln) Wicked Rhode will be debuting there new guitarist. Should be a blast. Come one come all.
Hope everyone has a great week.
