Wake me up when September Ends

September 28, 2024

Listen up, we are now 4 games into the season. How about that. It is crazy how the time goes. September is almost over. The Halloween season is on it's way. People are already decorating. Crazy.

Anyway, onto the show. Did you see Votta Properties versus Manville Palace Pizza? For the second consecutive week, Votta properties was led by a resurgent Jr, and you missed Votta scoring 10 goals. Raf Manzo scored 4 goal. Ben Hevner had a hat trick and 4 assists. Manville could not get out of the gate. They got 4 goals. One by Richie Diaz. One by Mark Kozinski. I could tell you the rest, but I don't have the numbers from Dan Dussault. 5 goals in the 3rd was the big difference. So, yeah, Votta won 10-4

In the second game of the evening. Quick Dam and Edge Doctor went at it. If you look, those are some damn swanky jerseys on both teams. In the first it was Edge Doctor getting an early start. Adam Babikian got edge on the board in the first shift. Quick Dam tied it up midway through on a goal by Ed Cardoso from Mike Thomas. Which from my point of view was awesome, cause I was fooled by Mike. I never thought he would pass it. son of a bitch. Here is the real kick in the shorts. Frank Nardone of Edge Doctor would finish the period with a magic puck. Frank shot from behind the goal line and some how got a goal with just 4 seconds left on the period. In the second, much like the first, Derek Antunes put the puck in the first shift, making it 3-1. Quick Dam would get the next goal. Was that Boo? not sure. Quick Dam won that period. In the third, Another big start to the period with Adam Babikian getting his second goal. Quick Dam keeping up the pace with Mike Thomas getting one for himself. And then it was Edge Doctor with the next three. Eric Yuszak getting 2 and Adam rounding out his Hatty. 7-3 Edge Doctor.

Blow outs abound this week. Final Touch Versus Vescera Law. Ok, Let me just share an update. Fake News. The Beck Co. was not an expansion team. Some miscommunication or misunderstanding. Either way, it is not my fault. I did what I was told. Let's get into the game. In the first it was tight. Like a virgin, touched for the very first time. Like a vir er er gin. Got that in my head now. Anyway, 3 goals for Final Touch. Literally back to back to back shifts. Shannon Reilly subbing in, started the fire. Dylan Myers got the next one. Then Iggy got the next one. Not to be undone, 2 late goals by Vescera would make this close to end the period. One by Larry Lefebvreeeee. The other one by unknown subs. The second and third was all Final Touch. Jimmy Meegan with 2, Brian Beck with two and Shannon Reilly with her second. 8-2 final with Final Touch winning. Final final, final? Hmm. yep.

In other News, Wicked Rhode, Featuring Mike Dussault Jr. Goalie of Votta Properties, is at Stevie D's in Riverside. Also, know as East Providence. That's Tonight. Yours truly has got some spots on stage as well.

Hope you all have a wonderful week. See you next time. Same bat time, same bat channel.
