Time is Marching on, yet we all skate. Hmm.
Let's jump right in and see who we can offend.
First game highlights, 6-6 tie. Damn. Nick Nardone for Quick Dam started the scoring, from Ralph Espilat, my boo. Next goal was Mark Kosinski from Rick Mercuri. And then Votta, came alive. Steve Donavan got them on the board with Ricky Votta? getting the assist? And then Kosinski for Dam would make it 3-1 to finish the first. Kosinski started off the 2nd with another to complete the Natty Hatty. Nice. Nick Nardone helped on 2 of the 3 goals. A couple more by Votta in the second. Mila Smith got on the board. Ben Hevner with the other goal. Late in the second, Nick Nardone would get another to put the team ahead by 2. In the third, Votta got the next 3 goals. The Smith Family getting 2 of them. First Shawn then Mila, to take the lead. Late goal by Quick Dam tied it up. Jamie Murphy to save the loss.
In game 2, another tight game. Green Goddess vs. Manville Palace Pizza. It was an amazing first period for Shannon Reilly. She got on the board early and then late. 2 beauties. MPP, Shannon Franco, put the team on her back to complete the SHANNON HATTY. In the second. Keith Kreunelis would tie it up. It has been so long that I had to write his name on this, I don't think spelled it right. Oh well. In the end, Shannon Reilly's bf Ryan Degnan got the game winner. 3-2 MPP.
Late game, thank goodness. Here we go Final Touch Vs. Edge Doctor. Edge Doctor came out quick with a goal by Kevin Webster, the first of 5. yep, 5. Final Touch got 3 unanswered, 2 were breakaways, by Domenic Savastano. Son of a.... In the Second, Edge got their edge back, another 2 by Webster in the same shift to get the Hatty. Savastano got another late in the second, to complete his hat trick. Early in the third, Kreg Labelle abused yours truly taking the puck out of the air and tucking it in the net. Next goal they gave to Adam Babikian, but he was just close to it as Webster got the puck to tip in off the opponent in front of the net. So, yeah, its Webby's. Webby would get another one to tie it up once again, midway through. And then, with the game winner for Final Touch. Andrew Laird, bent the twine with 4 minutes to go. That would do it 6-5. great game tho.
