Wake me up When September Ends...Here we are end of September, Get up!
Good Day! and here we are!
In the first Game, Final Touch Sans Captain Campbell, took to the ice. Luckily Eric was on the bench steering the ice boat. Edge Doctor, coming off their incredible back to back runs of championships, were ready sans goalie Frank Zabatta. Santiago filling in. In the shift a puck fight between yours truly and Shannon Caverly, resulted in the shortest pass for a goal in the history of hockey. Marc O'Connor slipping it in from the slot. Late in the first, Mr. Coast to Coast, Ben Hevner took the puck to the net, top shelfing it for Final Touch. Second period was a wash. Lots of action no stats. In the third, Scott Webber looked the defense in the eye and put the puck over the shoulder for Final Touch's 3-0 lead. Late in the game, Cory Landi with the goal from Richie Dias' rebound. That would do it, 3-1 Final Touch.
Game 2 Quick Dam V. Manville Pizza. In the first Tied up 3 goals each. Dylan Rabitor started the scoring for Quick Dam. While in the next shift MPP's Ryan Degnan answered. Rabitor would get another fed by Andy Laird. Mike Thomas would tie and gain the lead with back to back goals for Manville Pizza. Jaime Murphy would tie it up for Quick Dam. Wow huh. In the second, Pizza would gain the lead once again with a goal by Kreg Labelle. And then it was all Quick Dam. Aaron Crossett would knot it up before the end of the second. Andy Laird would start the scoring Larry Lefebvre would cement the lead 20 seconds later. And Laird would finish it up. 7-4 over out Quick Dam with the win.
In game 3. Wow this was crazy. Votta Properties put up a 3-1 lead over Green Goddess in the first. This one started with Raf Manzo 25 seconds into the game. Same shift Votta would tie it up. Ricky Votta on the assist but still has not sent me the numbers for the team. So, sorry 21. Properties would get 2 more goals in the first. Number 9 and Number 8. In the second, 3 goals by Green Goddess to grab the 4-3 lead going into the third. Rob Edleman started it off. JW Preston Tied it up and Mark Kozinski gained the lead. Raf Manzo extended the lead 5-3 for Goddess. Goddess would get one more Rob Edleman with their last goal. And then Votta Properties with 3 minutes left. Got on the board. Ricky Votta would pop it in to get the comeback started. 2 goals By 19 including the game winner with 47 seconds left. Is was way more exciting than that. Confetti was tossed. T-shirt cannons. It was magical. Votta wins 7-6
