Tonights events, The Underground is at Chefs OBD in Oakland Beach Warwick. 7-10.

Back to our regularly scheduled program. 

I had the honor of being signed to a one day contract with Edge Doctor. Edge Doctor and Quick Dam went at it early in the evening. Midway through the first, Edge Doctor got on the board with a goal by Cory Landi, set up by the sponsor Derek Signoriello. The rest of the period belonged to Quick Dam, with no reward. In the second, midway through. Marc O'Connor took the puck from the far face off all the way to the net, helping the edge. Quick Dam cut the lead in half with a goal by Jamie Murphy from Andy Morrison. Late in the second, Edge struck twice. Again, O'Connor with a goal, then a blast from the past, Adam Babikian bent the twine with a cross pass from Derek Sig. The third was all back and forth. The goalies came up big. 4-1 Edge Doctor. 

In game 2. should I spoil it? I could, if you want. How bout this, I will let you guess. In the first shift,  both teams scored back to back. First Vescera's Bobby Killa Watts, fed Neil Yee 24 seconds in to the game. Kole Sisson answered with Ricky Votta feeding him. Can you guess yet, what the final outcome is going to be. That is your clue. In the second Votta scored again. Literally 2-1 until the third. In the third, Votta pulled ahead by 2 and then by 3 with Kole scoring his second. But wait, Vescera answered with 3 unanswered. Answered, Unanswered, Is that right, yeah, ok. Any who, it was Captain Shane mcshane, McCormick, Jim Leach and then Neil Yee for his second. If you did the math, it was a 4-4 tie. And no one celebrated. 

Late game antics, thieves and police presence. Ok, we are not good stewards in the warm room. There was a person who rifled through the locker rooms and stole some wallets and money. The police were alerted, not sure of the aftermath. 

The game was Green Goddess and Manville Pizza. Goddess came out to the early lead with 4 goals to 1 in the first. Mark Kosinski with the hat trick. Garret Reilly with the other. Manville Pizza had a goal by Ryan Degnan. And then it was all Manville Pizza all the time 8 goals by 7 different players. Brian Roman, Sean Aguiar with 2, Dan Dussault, Mike Thomas and Kreg Lebelle. Not sure who #12 is in this one, but that was the other one. In the end, it was 8-4 MPP. They are starting to climb the standings.
