Wow the frost been on the pumpkins this week.
It is October. The spooky season. I saw a man drink a shot out of a sperm shaped bottle. That was spooky.
In the first game, Final Touch went up against Manville Pizza. Manville came out hot. Mike Baro for Final Touch had his hands full in the net. Manville was out shooting FT 10-2. Final Touch, by some miracle ended up scoring with 2 minutes left and with very little time if any they grabbed a second. The first was Ben Hevner on a coast to coast trip. And the other, the return of Mike Strayer. in the second, Manville tied it up early. One by Kreg Labelle and the other by Ryan Degnan. Late in the period, Final Touch's Ben Hevner broke the tie and they never looked back. Two more goals by Scott Webber sealed the game. By the way, if someone offers you a shot that is in a sperm shaped bottle, you have the option to decline. Webber did the shot, because I declined. That is a team mate. In the end it was 5-2 Final Touch.
Whatever ritual or food or drink Gary Ouilette had, you might want to do that every week. The game belonged to Gary. He got one in the first and the game winner in the third. This was a battle of goalies. Edge Doctor did manage one by Adam Babikian midway through the third, but that would do it. 2-1 Vescera Law.
Did I tell you it was Gary's night. He would sub for the Goddess and get 2 more goals. Caliente as the spanish would say. In this one, He got the game winner in the second. Piled another on, Mark Kozinski with the other 2 goals for the goddess. Love that number 7. For the Quick Dam side, where the led the game briefly in the first, 37 was 9. So 9 scored. So does that mean Neil Foley scored. He is back. He needed at least 3 more to make a difference though. In the end, Green Goddess got the win 4-1.
Tonight, The Underground featuring Eric Robichaud on lead guitar and Matt Connell on rhythm guitar, will be at 133 Club 8pm. East Providence. Come out and have fun. I heard a few folks were interested.
Otherwise, I hope everyone has a great Columbus indigenous day.
See you all at the rink.
Live, Breathe, LOVE..................HOCKEY!!!
