Who is on the Nice list? Who is on the Naughty list? I am no Santa, but he knows.
Here comes Santa Claus
Here comes Santa Claus
Right down Santa Claus Lane
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Pullin' on the reins
Bells are ringin', children singin'
All is merry and bright
So hang your stockings and say your prayers
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight
Votta Properties was gifted with 3 goals (yep the ole sombrero) from one of my close personal friends, Eric Campbell. He started the scoring and got the GWG. Not a bad night. The rest of the goals on the Purple side were from JW Preston and Big Sexy, Ricky Votta himself. A couple of goals from some hired help as well. On the Vescera Side, lets just say we know who their star is, it is little Robbie Edelman. He got a goal and 2 assists. Shane McCormick got two goals as well. And did you see Robbie's hair when he got out of the locker room. Holy smokes. Looked like he came out of a model magazine. Any who. Bill Vescera got an assist as well. But it was not enough as Votta won 7-3.
In game 2, Final Touch continues their successful run through the season. We are not impressed. Nobody likes you. 3 goals in the first by Dylan Myers, Brian Beck and Garret Reilly. Garret's goal was impressive. Perfect pass to the slot from Dylan. They were all trying to impress their ladies. Who were swooning. In the second, I think Show scored, but they gave it to Dylan. Did you score Show? Send me a text. In the third, Quick Dam, showing their resilience, put a couple in the net. Marc O'Conner had one. The other was unknown, but set up by Shawn Smith. It would not be enough as Roman would get the final goal making it 5-2 Final Touch with the final word.
Green Goddess Versus Edge Doctor. Edge Doctor started out early, with a goal in the second shift by Derek Antunes. Derek said, he did not want to work hard and would let Strayer and Papa do the heavy lifting. In the second, a couple of breakaway goals by Adam Babikian made the difference in this one. Tommy Martins in goal for the Doctor, kept the wolves at bay. In the third, Mike Strayer, who wishes to remain anonymous, but keeps making an impact, scored on the opening face off of the period. The Blue Liner got in the action, A-A-ron Crossett got a goal for the Docs. Green Goddess finally got on the board with a breakaway power goal by Steve Albertelli. Strayer, I mean somebody, got an immediate response goal, making it 6-1 final for Edge Doctor. Putting them over 500.
I don't know how many of you I will see before Christmas. That said, I hope everyone enjoys the holidays. The greatest gift you can give and receive is love from your family and friends. Kindness and respect. Life will be easier.
