Last game of the Year and what a long one it was.

March 16, 2024

Is everyone just sitting there and waiting for the standings to come out. Did you know nothing changed, everyone is in the same position as last week. Yep, everyone tied. What the heck is that all about.

In game one: 3-3 tie. Vescera Law vs. Final Touch. Vescera got the lead in the first 2-1. Steve Lombardi and Chad Labaste with goals for Vescera and Derek Anderson with a goal for Final Touch. In the second the tables were turned. Final Touch won the period with 2-1, 2 by Bob Killah Watts. Love that rapper handle. Yeah, so tied 3-3. But wait, the third was won by the goalies. Mike Baro for Final Touch and Mark Clarkin. On the Final Touch side, #2 on the goal, whoever that was. On the Shane McCormick for Vescera. Next week, I believe they will play each other. So, this was a preview.

This next game was a roller coaster. Votta and Edge. 6-6 game. Lets just say, if Edge could have stopped Kreg Labelle, they would have won. Kreg had 4 goals and an assist. The other two goals were from Mark Kosinski, filling in for my man Ray. On the Edge side, the goals were spread out. Nick Nardone got the party started. Adam 'my captain' Babikian with a couple. Nick Miranda with one. And a couple by Ben Hevner. You Know what the nice thing about coming in last, you play the 8:20 on the first game of the playoffs. Get ready for Goddess, Edge Doctor. Votta will be facing Quick Dam.

Speaking of Quick Dam and Green Goddess. They tied too. 3-3. On the Quick Dam side, a goal a period. Neil Yee and Jim Meegan with 2 of the goals. Don't know who got the other. On the Goddess side, Shannon Reilly with 2 and Steve Owens with the other. Oh and Shannon got an assist as well. Good Job.

So, the way I see it, Manville Pizza has the bye for the first game of the playoffs. Edge Doctor will Play Green Goddess at 8:20. Quick Dam will face Votta Properties at 9:30 and Final Touch will go at it Versus Vescera Law. Good luck to all.

Hey if you want to party and celebrate the Irish, like myself, Come to Badgers Pub tonight. 8:30 start of Wicked Rhode.
