Pre Thanksgiving Special. Turkeys are everywhere.

November 22, 2025

Hello, Is it me you're looking for.

Vescera Law versus Votta Properties- Here we go, Shane McShane Shane captain McCormick started the scoring for the Law midway through the first, set up by Gary Ouilette. Gary would set up the next one 30 seconds later. Neil Yee would finish the set up. 2 goals by number 7. whoever that was, I had the 10:20 game. But I did see Steve Albertelli. Really not sure what team he was playing for, but it would make sense, getting a hatty. In the second Votta got on the board down by 4. Shannon Franco tenacity at its finest gets burst the bubble. Another goal by the Properties, cut the lead in half. Shane would add to the lead late in 2, with likely a breakaway. Votta was still not done and got on the board again in the third. Law would get one late in the 3rd to put the exclamation point on th the win. 6-3.

Guess which team is out of the basement? Yep the Pizza Palace, chipped away at the standings. This was a barn burner. MPP versus Green Goddess. Rob Edelman started the scoring for the Green with White gloves, Mark Kosinski and Scott Reilly on the apples. Manville answered with a goal. Set up by Keith and Ryan. I am not sure how this happened, but literally 2 seconds Raf got kept the lead for Goddess. And like a ping pong match, MPP's Ryan Degnan got the tie 30 seconds after. Ok, now late in the period Mark Kosinski regained the lead. He was set up by Rob and JW before JW's skate broke. 5 seconds later according to the time keeper, MPP got another one to tie it up. On to the second. Kreg Labelle stoked the fire and got the lead. Goddess tied it up with Scott Reilly on the goal. Jeez Louise. Then Rob got another regaining the lead. Are you following this? Defense is for suckers. And spoiler, the last goal for Goddess and the last lead. Shannon Reilly getting on the board. Then the goal of the night, Andy Meegan, Top Cheddar. Igniting the pizza to get the next 2, Kreg late in the second. Mike Thomas with the gwg in the third. That will do it. 7-6 Manville wins.

Had the privilege to play for Edge Doctor with my partner in crime Mark O'Connor. The Irish Car bombs were in tact for the blue. It didn't take long, Shawn Smith getting the goal set up by yours truly and Marc O'Connor. Later in the first, Kenny Beck popped in the rebound from Smith. In the Second Adam Babikian with a direct outside angle goal, a beauty would stretch the lead. Quick Dam would get on the board with a ricochet shot, credited to Andy Laird. The next goal was late but deserved by Cory Landi set up by Kenny Beck and Adam. In the third, deja vu on the inside angle short side for Adam Babikian to complete the scoring. Edge Doctor 5-1 over the dam.

No games next week. Apparently we get to get fat and happy and enjoy our families! Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for all of you!

See you next time.
