And so it goes, another season in the books and a great finish! Quick Dam ends the season with a 3-1 win over Edge Doctor. The season that had a lower seed move on to the next round. The odds makers did not see this one coming. 

In the first, the teams were on an even keel. Back and forth they came and went. The water on the ice still glistening and the score board was at zeros. In the second the action heated up with a goal by Quick Dams Captain Eric Campbell. A beauty to get the Dam on the board. This was off the drop of the puck. Just 37 seconds into the period. A switch of lines and an answer by Edge Doctor's juggernaut Kole Sisson, taking it to the house to tie the game at 1. Just 2 minutes later, Kreg LaBelle, Quick Dams most prolific player, broke the tie, making it 2-1. Down the stretch of the second, nothing doing as goalies Mark Clarkin for Edge Doctor and Frank Zabatta for Quick Dam, kept the pucks away. It took 8 minutes of the third, before Peter Meegan took Quick Dam on his shoulders and scored the breather. Defense, goalie and possession hockey took over the day and the game in the end! Quick Dam is the 2026 Summer Champs!!! Great season, great team!! Congratulations!!!
